Haitises National Park. This unique eco system spans over 2,000 square miles of rain forests, mangroves, and secluded beaches interwoven in the coast line. Los Haitises is home to over 100 species of birds including the rare Black-Hawk Eagle. The coast line is littered with caves that Local Taino Indians lived in and decorated with pictographs and paintings that can be seen even today.
